New Year, New Web Site

A new year is upon us and so we have shed our old web site and have emerged a little fresher and with some new ideas for 2010.

The first "new" thing you may notice is the page that details the cost of an IVF cycle in our clinic. We feel that transparency is important for patients and so we have detailed what the costs of a cycle are, including everything. Yes, a cycle involves a lot more than just the egg retrieval expenses. A cycle involves the cost of the medication, the cycle monitoring costs, the doctor's fees, the laboratory fees and the cost of preserving additional embryos not used in the cycle (cryopreserved embryos) and their storage in the future. We want our patients to be able to compare apples to apples when shopping for IVF services.

We also have a new page comparing another area clinic to our clinic. Again, this is so that our patients can compare the prices offered by other clinics and will be able to ask the right questions when comparing their services.

We are also getting ready to launch into the world of Social Media. Yes, you can be one of our FANS on Face Book, a FOLLOWER on Twitter and a CONNECTION on Linked In. It is exciting to think that when we have news from the fertility world we can send it out with the click of a mouse. Stay tuned for details.

And finally, we have some very new and innovative ideas that we are working on for 2010. We will be sharing those with all of you once we are introduced into the social media world (a little like debutants.... :)
