What does IUI cost? What about ovulation induction? – El Paso Fertility Treatment
In our characteristic spirit of total honesty, we’re providing the prices for some of the most common procedures we perform. These are actual dollar figures, not just vague generalities Prices quoted are the discounted prices for cash pay patients. Costs of services for insurance billing are subject to the contract pricing for the insurance company and will vary from company to company.
The total IUI cost actually includes several different factors. The following costs are associated with most IUI cycles:
- Sperm Washing: $150
- IUI procedure: $160
If IUI is being performed using the male partner’s sperm, then these will be the costs associated with IUI. Keep in mind that this is the price per cycle, and multiple IUI cycles may be needed before achieving a pregnancy. However, if donor sperm is being used, or if cycle monitoring for the female partner is needed, then the total IUI cost will be greater than this.
The cost for donor sperm for IUI or Artificial Insemination will vary and depend on the donor bank prices, whether or not the sample has been washed and the shipping fees. If the sample is pre-washed, then we won’t have to wash it and our $150 fee for sperm washing will not apply to your IUI.
Ovulation Induction Cost
The following costs are associated with Ovulation Induction (OI), and may apply to IUI as well when cycle monitoring is involved:

- Hormone Monitoring may include serum estradiol levels ($70) and progesterone levels ($70).
- Blood Pregnancy Test is typically covered by insurance and if run STAT additional fees may apply.
