Holly Hutchison, the managing partner and in vitro treatment (IVF) facilitator at the Reproductive Health Center in Tucson, Arizona, speaks about her credentials and practice in Tucson. Holly completed her Master’s degree in genetics from the University of Arizona. She was always fascinated by the human eggs and the novelty of a profession that enables couples to have children and start a family. She and her sibling, Dr. Scot Hutchison, opened Reproductive Health Center in 1995 with the end goal of providing their clients with the absolute best in infertility treatment.

I am Holly Hutchison. I’m the managing partner of Reproductive Health Center and I’m also the IVF coordinator. I went to school at the University of Arizona where I have a Bachelor’s degree and also a Master’s degree in genetics. I worked as a clinical geneticist for about 15 years before we started the Reproductive Health Center in 1995. Actually, the idea that started probably about 5-6 years prior to that. I had ended up doing some research in embryology with the embryologist at the University of Arizona where I was working .

Dr. Hutchison Scot, my brother, at the same time was doing his residency in OB-GYN and was thinking about what he would do when he’d grew up. And we had a family dinner one night where we all started discussing, you know, I was just raving about working with human eggs and how important the work I was doing and oh, we were making babies and this was so exciting, there was so much interesting thing. And he started, I could see little seeds working and he started thinking, wow I could do a Fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. And so, he and his wife decided that’s what they would do. And then, I don’t know if it was stupidly or it was brilliantly, after they were in Baltimore and they didn’t like living there, I said why don’t you come to Arizona. We’ll start our own clinic and the rest is history
