Fertility Treatment Costs and Financing

Fertility Treatment Costs and Financing Options at Reproductive Health Center

You can’t put a price tag on becoming a parent. But we know that the financial aspect of fertility treatment is often at the forefront of our patients’ minds as they consider their first step in their journey.

At Reproductive Health Center, we understand that financial confusion and uncertainty may keep a couple from pursuing treatment. Because of this, we provide transparent, competitive pricing and share all costs of treatment following your first appointment to avoid any unwelcome surprises on your path to parenthood. We also strive to keep our treatment prices affordable while still providing a high level of care, giving you the best chance of success at growing your family.

The first step in finding out how much treatment costs is scheduling your New Patient Consultation with our team in Tucson, Arizona. When you make your first appointment, our front desk team will ask for your insurance information. This information is then passed on to our finance and billing team who will review your benefits. You will also want to review your benefits and be familiar with what your insurance will or will not cover. After you’ve met with your doctor and understand your options for treatment, you will discuss your benefits with a member of our finance team. They will walk you through what your insurance does or doesn’t cover in relation to your treatment, as well as the fees that you will be responsible for. Additionally, our finance team will review with you your potential financing options and how to secure loans should you need them.

We know that fertility treatment costs can be expensive. But don’t let that hold you back from your dream of starting a family. Thankfully, a wide range of options exists to help you achieve your goals.

Financing Programs for Fertility Treatment

If you are considering financing for your fertility treatment, you have a variety of options. Our patients have acquired loans via their personal banking institution, local credit unions, credit cards, etc. We also have partnered with Prosper Healthcare Lending to provide affordable and easy-to-use financing options. Their programs help with the strain of financial costs with extended payment programs and manageable payments. To learn more and start your application for funding, visit their websites: Prosper Healthcare Lending.

Some patients elect to pay with cash, but even in those cases, there are options to make payments more manageable. When meeting with our finance team, you can elect to set up installment plans to make regular payments for your treatment. Whether they are set up weekly, biweekly, or by appointment, these plans can ease the burden of paying upfront for the full cost of treatment. Details can be found by talking to our financial team, but please note that all IVF treatment costs must be paid in full prior to your day of transfer.

We currently accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, Discover, AMEX, and Mastercard.

Insurance Options for Fertility Treatment

In many cases, if you have health insurance, it’s likely that your insurance might cover a portion of treatment, whether it is your new patient appointment, medications, or testing.

To ensure you are making the most of your insurance benefits, prior to your first appointment at Reproductive Health Center, we encourage you to review your benefits and call your provider to get a full understanding of what they do or don’t cover. This is also a great chance to fully comprehend your deductible, out-of-pocket maximums, etc. Your insurance may also require a “Prior Authorization Letter.” If you do have coverage for treatment through your insurance company, this is required for us to file the claim on your behalf. Meanwhile, our team will be working hard to optimize whatever benefits you may have and understand your reimbursement options.

We accept the following insurance:

  • Aetna
  • Banner Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Health Net
  • Tricare (Health Net Federal)
  • United HealthCare & UMR
